I was born and raised in the Bronx, about 8 blocks from Yankee Stadium and went to Parochial schools. But my much older cousin had bought a run down, old mansion on Long Island Sound in Pelham Manor, NY, I wound up spending many summers there. She spent years turning it into a showplace and I was always in awe of that home. That started my lifelong interest in real estate and architecture.  Another interest has always been singing, acting, and dancing and have performed in many local community theater musicals over the years. I have been a cantor for my church and even appeared on Restaurant Row singing at a club. I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing but chose marriage and children over pursuing a career. As my family grew up, I worked part-time selling Tupperware, jewelry and working in the medical field in various capacities, including medical office secretary, insurance specialist, and medical transcription. Finally, in 2004, I decided to take my passion for real estate and work at flipping houses, eventually becoming a Realtor approximately 3 years later. Then the bubble burst in 2008 and things fell apart. My rental properties hobbled along until I had to sell them, but I held onto my Realtor license. But all was not lost. I survived, learned from my mistakes and have found strength from both the good and bad experiences. This has allowed me to use that knowledge and pass it on to my buyers and sellers. These lessons are quite helpful when working with investors, since I understand their mindset and the pitfalls that can befall them. Though I work with both buyers and sellers, I particularly enjoy working with buyers because I love to help educate them in the process of purchasing a home. There is such a great sense of fulfillment when their journey ends with the keys to their dream house. When working with me, I can promise, there will be no pressure, no hype, no and I will always tell it like it is. If I don’t know something, I will find out the answer and will continually work for the best outcome for you. But, fear not, the journey won’t be a somber one. I always try to make the process as enjoyable and lighthearted as possible but always mindful of the fact that this is the largest purchase most people will make and the impact it will make on them and their families. Most of my clients look back and miss the fun we had while on their quest!
